あ~~懐かしいっ！！
今でも全部歌えるぜいっ（笑
子供ほったらかして熱唱してます。
まったく向いてない育児でなんだかストレスたまってたんでしょうね~
でもでもこれを聞いたら昔の元気満開のＨＭ娘に戻って
物凄い元気が湧いてきちゃった。
今聞いたって新鮮！
晋ちゃんはやっぱ天才~♪
最近のＨＲ/ＨＭシーンはさっぱり知りませんがぜひぜひ若い方々にお勧めしたいですね。

懐かしくて、カッコ良すぎて思わず涙出ました。

もちろん、IIも合わせて聞きましょう。
Ｘ-ＲＡＹの世界に浸ってください！

ジャパメタといって半ば馬鹿にされながら、しかし80年代中盤まではシッカリとしたシーンがあった中、X-RAYは44MAGNUMのアメリカっぽいポップさとは違った、少し湿った明るくなりきれない、哀愁を秘めた、でも覚えやすいメロディーでオリジナリティーを確立していたとこのベスト盤を聴き返して改めて思った。

収録曲はほぼ年代順に並んでおり、彼らの代表曲が押さえられていると思う。高校生の頃、リアルタイムでアルバム HUMAN DOGを聴いて、「X-RAYはこれで終るかも」と思ったときから十余年、今も色あせない天才　湯浅晋のギター、上手くはないが憂いを帯びた藤本朗のボーカル、本アルバムに収録されたライヴを聴いて改めて驚かされたリズム隊の安定した仕事振り、今ひとつメジャーになり切れなかったこのバンドの「らしさ」を是非、若い人たちに聴いて欲しい。

　この時代に多感な時期を過ごした人にとっては、たまらない曲の連続だと思います。最近聴き直してみると、アメリカンロックのよいところとヨーロピアンな雰囲気がうまくミックスされているし、なんといってもどの曲もメロディがとても印象的なところが素晴らしいです。
　晋さんのギターはやっぱりいつ聴いてもいいですね。ウリや、シェンカーなんかに心酔している人には特に訴えるものがあるのではないでしょうか。リフも印象的ですが、なんといってもソロの組み立てが素晴らしいです。センスが日本人離れしていると思いますが、ほめすぎでしょうか？。
　あと最近聴いて感じるのはリズムセクションのかっこよさです。ドラムはすごくパワフルで、まるでコージーパウエルのようです。それとこのバンド、ベースがいいですね。メロディアスなフレージングで楽曲をさらに魅力的なものにしています。
　それにしても聴いているだけで体が熱くなります。「あ、昔この曲バンドでカバーしたことあるよな」というのもけっこうあってとても懐かしいです。
　若い人でもメロディアスなハードロックが好きな人は是非聴いてみてください。これぞＸ-ＲＡＹといえるような名曲ばかりですので・・・。
