24時間テレビで放送された当時はビデオなどの録画手段を持っていなかったのでもう２度と見られないとおもっていました。ブラックジャックやアトムなどおなじみのキャストがたくさん登場し、トミースナイダーの音楽も良かったです。

子供の頃、24時間テレビでたった１回見て以来、２５年間も忘れることができませんでした。なぜか年をとるにつれ、マリンエクスプレスをもう一度見たいという気持ちが強くなり、DVDで発売されていることを知り、さっそく購入しました。当時は大好きなブラックジャックを中心に話を記憶していましたが、今見ると主人公ロックのかっこよさにビックリ！それに、人気キャラが大勢出演しているのにかかわらず、それぞれの個性が上手に生かされてストーリーが組み立てられていることに驚きました。さらに1979年の作品なのに、環境破壊など今でも通用するテーマ･･･やはり手塚治虫はスゴイです。

みなさんと同様、幼い頃に見たこの名作を再び見ることがなかったついこの前まで、本当にこの作品は存在していたのか？子どもの頃の、様々なぼんやりした根拠のない記憶のひとつにすぎなかったのか？などと、不安になってばかりでした。でも、やっぱりあったんですよね！あの感激は本物だったんだ！もう、嬉しくて、嬉しくて！シリアスなテーマの中に、手塚アニメならではの、センスあるギャグ感覚がもりだくさん！もう、さっそく自分の子どもに見せたりしていますが、やっぱり彼らも本当に喜んでくれています。絶対にハズレなしです！

絶対、忘れられない最高の映画。手塚治虫氏の愛と魂が強烈に込められている。
何度も観たいし、あらゆる年代の人に観てもらいたい映画。
