　イタリア出身の異色プログレ・バンドの’７４年発表のデビュー作。
　美しいオペラチックなソプラノ・ヴォイスを軸に、優雅でありながら屈折した、ドラマティックな曲で構成されている。

　ピアノ、ハープシコード、フルート、ストリングス等で彩られる、クラシカルな響きを持つ旋律と、対照的な常軌を逸したような不気味さを前面に出した旋律とが交互に展開され、奇奇怪怪な独特の世界が表現されている。

　これだけアヴァンギャルドという形容が似合う音楽も珍しいと思うが、メロディがしっかりしているので、決してとっつきにくいわけではない。
　一種のユーモアとも受けとめられる、摩訶不思議な作品だ。
