発売されてもう２、３年たつと思うのですが今でもこのアルバムをこえるものは僕の中ではありません。こないだ出たファーリーズの新譜も良かったけど、これはとにかく良い。
本編も良い上にボーナスディスクに入ってるのも名曲ぞろい。なんでこんないろんな曲をやって、アルバムがぐちゃぐちゃにならないのかが不思議です。

なんとこのアルバムには、全曲にクリップのついたＤＶＤが別に出てて、そっちもお勧めです。泣ける・・・。

イギリスの新進気鋭の人気アーティストであるピート・ファウラーがジャケットデザインしていたので、コレクションとして買ったのですが、内容のレベルの高さに感動しました。不思議な気持ちの良いメロディラインは繰り返し聴いても飽きないです。自分の中のBest3アーティストに入りました。

やはりここでも言われているように、ファーリーの最高傑作はこのアルバムで不動ですね。

まず他の作品と比較して、テンションが違う。一曲ごとの緊張感、そして楽曲のバラエティ、そのどちらをとっても素晴らしい。
さらにアルバム全体の底流をなしている大きな、包み込むような愛。それはこの作品がとりわけ時代を映し、その影響を全身で受けとめていることの傍証だと思います。

テーマが明確だった最近の２作とは異なり「主題」を必要としない、それでいて楽曲たちが自ずから、大いなるものの方向へ収束していく感じは堪りません。

心に何らかの核心／確信がサプライされたような、聴き終った後の温かい感覚。
数年経った今も、月に１度は引っ張り出して聴いています。
