松本隆との共作楽曲2曲を含む、セカンド・アルバム。生楽器中心のアンサンブルが印象的だった前作から一転、宅録をベースに制作されたという今作は、オーセンティックなボサ・ノヴァ、アコースティック・ギターの軽快な浮遊感が身体に心地よいギター・ポップ、ノスタルジックなメロディを持つフォーキー・チューン、“音響系”にも通じる実験的なナンバーなど、一気に色彩を増したソングライティングに驚かされる。また、プロトゥールスを使用した音楽にありがちな、アイディアを詰め込みすぎたことによる暑苦しさはまったくなく、むしろ軽やかなヌケの良さを感じさせるサウンド・メイクにも好感が持てる。
しかし本作が極上のポップ・アルバムとなった最大の要因は、その声にある。いわゆるウィスパー・ヴォイスのスタイルでありながら、はっきりとした輪郭と強い存在感を持つ彼女の声は、どんなサウンドにもマッチするのはもちろん、聴く者を惹きつけてやまない不思議な力を獲得している、と思う。 (森朋之) --- 2002年05月号

とても透明感と開放感があり、はっきりとした世界観があるアーティスト。紛れない本物の女性アーティストであると思います。
個人的にこれほどのインパクトは女性に限って言えば、タイプは違いますが、Fayray以来です。本当に才能のある人達とコラボレートしても

全くひけをとらない技量と個性を持っていると思います。ぜったいに買って損のないアルバムだと思います。長い年月を得ても決して色褪せない作品です。

作家として数々の楽曲提供も行っているbiceが、短いインターバルでリリースした2nd。前作とは違い宅録をベースにした制作方法をとったことで、彼女の創造力がピュアなまま音に反映された。時にクラシカル、時にフューチャーと、楽曲はバラエティに富んでいるが、全体を柔らかくミントな空気が貫いているのが清々しい。ウィスパーより涼やかに優しい歌が、やはりチャーミング。
