BGM　for　TVプログラムと銘打ってあったので大きく期待したのだが，見事に裏切られた。このCDもやはり我々が子ども時代に耳にしていたサンダーバードの音楽ではなかった。モノラルで良い，ノイズも入っていて良いから，自分の記憶の中にある本当のオリジナルのサンダーバードの主題歌・テーマが聞きたい！「スティングレー」や「キャプテンスカーレット」はきちんとオリジナルの日本語主題歌がCDになっているではないか。何故「サンダーバード」だけがやれ組曲だ，やれリメイクだ，やれデジタルリマスターだなどと余計な手を加え，どんどんオリジナルから遠ざかろうとするのか理解に苦しむ。正真正銘のオリジナルサンダーバードを強く希望する。

もしや今度こそは・・・と思いながら購入してみれば、これはな、なんと１９９２年に発売された「サンダーバード秘密基地セット」（ドラマＣＤにカップリングされていた本邦内演奏＆録音のＢＧＭ集の単独再発売だったのです。
音の厚みの無さ、演奏の解釈の違いからか印象の異なる多数のＢＧＭ、ある部分など間違った音階もありで虚無感を覚えざるを得ません。
「スティングレー」などの既成ＢＧＭをつなげて放映時に聞こえていた部分も、演奏でそのままに表現してしまう事前チェックの甘さなど、「がっがり」の一言に尽きます。

サントラと勘違いして購入してしまいました。
復元版としてみればかなり努力していると思います。
アレンジはオリジナルに近いのですが、ホルンの音色やバイオリン等の
ストリングス系が貧弱で、全体の奥行き、めりはりに欠けているのが残
念です。
音質はとてもいいんですが・・・

サンダーバードファンとしてはなかなかだと思いますが、基本的に全話の中から収録したＢＧＭでないので、★4つにさせていただきました。このあたりがとっても残念。
