BEGINが渋谷区道玄坂百軒店にあるロック喫茶”B.Y.G”で録音したアルバム。歌詞カードには”B.Y.G”の簡単な紹介文も付いている。
ライブ感を演出するためか、「音楽旅団2」以降のオリジナルアルバム（「Tokyo Ocean」「BEGIN」）の完成度と比べると、多少アルバム全体のレベルは落ちているかもしれない。だけど、それが逆に上に挙げた三枚と比べて、良い意味で「BGMとしても聴き流せる」アルバムとして仕上がっている印象。多分BEGINもそれを意識して、ブルース主体の選曲をし、ロック喫茶”B.Y.G”での臨場感の満ちあふれた演出の中、このアルバムを製作したのであろう。ブルースを聴きながら、お酒を飲み、人と楽しい会話、楽しい時間を過ごそうじゃないか、というBEGINのメッセージが伝わってくる。
もちろん「ボトル二本とチョコレート」、「道玄坂で見た景色」「灯り」など名曲もある。これを入門編として、他のBEGINの曲へ手を出してはいかがだろうか。ブルースやバラードや島唄だけではないBEGINの魅力が味わえると思うから。

私は地方に住んでいるので大きなＣＤショップが無く、超メジャー級のアーチストでなければなかなか売っておらず、やっと聴けたという感動でいっぱいです。
