私が中学生の頃、頻繁にテレビに出てらっしゃっいましたが、高校生になると途端、見なくなりましたね。その後、大学時代に「MICHAEL　FORTUNATI」の「GiveMeUp」を聴き、それが原曲と聞きましたが、どうしてもあの思春期の頃の「GiveMeUp」を聴きたい！！と思いつつもなかなか見つからなく、何年経ったことか・・・。ホント、音楽はすばらしいものですね。「GiveMeUp」聴いた途端、20年前近くにタイムスリップした感じで、その頃の出来事がつい昨日だった様に・・・は大げさですが、学校の先生、同級生、好きだった子なんかいろんな事を想い出させてくれる一枚でした。

どの曲も元気炸裂!という感じです。けだるい朝、車の中で聞いて元気をもらっています。ギブミーアップ!ウォーウォーというフレーズが頭の中に残っている人は、ぜひまた聞いてみてください。今聞いてもやっぱりいい感じですよ。彼女たちが活躍した時代、80年代後半は日本が元気な時代でした。自分はそのころ中学生でしたが、将来はいいことがあるような気がなんとなくしていました。このCDの中の彼女たちの曲を聞くとなんとなく、あのころの自分を思い出します。そして、もう一度がんばってみようかなあと思うのです。

ＢａＢｅが解散してから１０年以上経過しますが、いまでもＢａＢｅの歌を再発見できるとってもいい、お勧めの1枚です。
