　ビッグクランチとは打って変わって、物静かなナンバーが多いが、味のある作品が多い。更にほぼ1発録音したと言うことあって、グルーヴ感がある。
　2002年はこのアルバムをよく聞いたものだった。なかなかこういったサウンドを作る人がいなかったんじゃないかな？って思った。
　ここまで来ると、OLの作品が毎年楽しみになってくる。
　「あ~こう来たか~（笑）」とニヤリとしてしまうものです（笑）
　売り上げなどを気にして、ここまで変化しないミュージシャンが多い中、毎年新たなる作品をリリースし、そして次へ行ってしまう田島貴男にずっと着いていきたい。そして、応援していきたいと思った。

２００２年で一番聞いたアルバムです。流行りとか周りに流されない
で、新しいことに挑戦し、良い音楽を作るという、田島氏のひたむきさ
が、ビシビシ伝わってきます。新しい試みを色々やってるにもかかわら
ず、「実験でこんなのできました」みたいな軽さはなく、どの曲も良い
意味で自信と確信に溢れてる感じがしました。「~系」みたいに、安易
にカテゴライズすることのできない、クオリティの高い大人のポップス
を聞きたい人にお勧めします。近作「恋の彗星」にしろ、最近のオリジ
ナル・ラブは何か突き抜けた迷いのなさがあって、すごく脂がノッてい
るように思えます。次のアルバムがホントに楽しみです。

田島貴男のファルセットの効いたヴォーカルに
心地よく酔える作品。
前作までの「ちょっとひねり過ぎ」の感がなくなり、
ストレートに耳に届きます。
曲自体も相変らずの多才さで魅せてくれます。
作曲が評価される事の多いオリジナルラヴですが
私は人生の苦味が感じられる嘘の無い詩も好きです。

夏の夜にまったりとその歌声に酔う...。

これからの季節にピッタリの一枚だと思います。
