「二胡 erhu」は、私が初めて手にした二胡のCDです。テレビの番組のBGMなどで二胡の音色は知っていて、欲しいなとは思っていたのですが、どれを買っていいのか分かりませんでした。このCDは、そんな私に友人が勧めてくれた最初の一枚です。そして、今はその友人にとても感謝しています。その後、二胡のCDを数枚買いましたが、このCDが今でも一番好きです。二胡を聞きたいと思ったときには、いつもこのCDを選びます。

二胡について語れる私ではありません。でも、そんな浅学な私にも、この楽器が伝えることができる「人の気持ち」を、賈鵬新さんが楽曲の中に十二分にのせてくれていると感じることができました。

二胡の音色を一言でいうなら｢切ない」だと思います。だから、二胡は楽しく明るいだけの音楽を演奏するのには向かないと思うんです。楽しかった昔を思い出すような痛みを併せ持った曲とか、来ないはずの明るい未来を思い描く曲だったら合うと思うのですが。なので、女子十二楽坊の音楽は、元気すぎて私にはしっくりきません。

明るく元気な女子十二楽坊がお好きな方もたくさんいると思います。もちろん、それはそれでいいと思います。でも、切ない二胡を堪能したい方には、このCDを強くお勧めいたします。

ＣＤ店で何気に買った。以前から、二胡（日本では胡弓と呼ぶ）の音色には興味があった。音を聞くたびに、遠い昔の懐かしさ、そんな気持ちにさせていた。
以前、北欧のグループ「Seacret Garden」のCDに出会ったと同じ感動があった。それもまた、「遠い昔に聞いたことがあるような、メロディーと音色」。

繊細な強弱（ビブラート）を伴わせた二胡の音色は、
哀愁を帯びた旋律に更なる趣をもたらしていて、
切なさや懐かしさなど、聴き手に様々な感情を湧き起こさせます。
楽器本体の質ではなく、弾き手の心が反映される音色だからこそ、
二胡には、無限の可能性と魅力が秘められているのだと思います。

最後に、是非書いておきたい事があるのですが、

元来、二胡に「胡弓」という別名はありません。
胡弓とは、日本独自の伝統楽器の名称であり、
二胡とは音も形も奏法も異なる全くの別物です。
