このソフトは、翻訳よりも英単語機能を目的に購入しました。
結論から言うとかなり使えます！　
自分が調べたマウス辞書を英単語帳に登録し、英語クイズやリスニングクイズ、単語帳をプリントアウトできる点は、他の翻訳ソフトよりも優れている点です。
翻訳はあまり使っていませんが、英字新聞を読んだりする時には、マウス辞書が非常に使い勝手がいいです。
翻訳を念頭に使うというよりは、私の場合は英語力アップに非常に利用できるソフトと思って使っています。
お勧めです。

1)デジタル化された英文なら、知らない単語に遭遇したらその単語の上にカーソルを置くだけで、ウィンドウに直ちに単語が表示されると同時にスピーカーから発音されます。少なくともデジタル化された英文を速読するのに、辞書は不要となりました。

2)翻訳機能より、むしろ新しい単語の獲得手段に用いています。それは耳からの発音と視覚を併せて用いれるので会話で直ぐに使える単語としてインプットできます。単語帳の作成も助かります。医学専門の授業ですので、単語数をもっと増やして戴ければありがたいのですが。高校までの文章ならパーフェクトではないでしょうか。

WORDやWEBでの翻訳能力には愕然とならざるをえませんでした。第一として、構文を捉えられていない。さらには、日本文だけを読もうと試みても意味がわからないでしたし、英文を改めて読んでみると、変換後の日本文と全く異なった意味になっていた。残念です。
（これは、英から日においてのみの変換能力を指しているだけです）
