無理やり分類するとポスト・ロック~エモ（←この呼び方どうか？と思うけど…）な感じと言えると思う。ピアノを交えたアンサンブルが、哀愁漂うV.o、メロディーを一層ひきたたています。JADE TREEの幾つかのグループに共通するような部分もありますが、古典的Rockなセンスも伺えます。稚拙なエモーションだけのグループと違い、しっかりと聴かせてくれます。勢いより渋さ重視、少し地味ではあるが…。

なんといっても2ndから参加したピアノの音がバンドのオリジナルの音を最も出していると思います。
この美しいピアノの音を中心に
一つ一つが重く響くドラムとうねるベース、突き刺すようなギターに
さらにささやくように迫ってくるボーカルが本当にかっこいいです。
プログレ/ポストロック/ニューウェーブなどが好きな人は是非聞いて欲しいです。

ただし、どっぷりはまるとslintのspiderlandのように抜け出すのに時間がかかるかもしれません。

シカゴ出身者のいるバンドやから余計にか
slintやその周辺の影響が濃いようにおもう
本人いわくクラシックの影響大らしいが

基本的にループするリズムと上物と歌なわけで
モグワイ以降のポストロック勢に通じる音ではあるが
個人的にそのカテゴリーに当てはめることには違和感がある
とかいってメロディックなslintなんて乱暴なたとえかたをしてしまうのやが
