メタルギアソリッドの第一作となるこのゲームですが，
私はストーリーが一番気に入っています。
映画でもここまで・・・という話はなかなかありません。
よくまとめられていると思います。
とにかくスネークだけで無く他のキャラにも魅力があります！！
日本語版の声優さんたちが秀逸なので日本語をお勧めしたいです。

ゲームキューブ版ではシステムがメタルギアソリッド２に似たものと
なるし映像も綺麗なのでそちらの方もお勧めです。
でもＰＳ版でも十分すぎるほど面白いんですけどね。

とにかくシリーズの伏線になるのでこれをプレイした後は２，３も
楽しめるはずです！！！

ＭＧＳ１は、とにかく遺伝子、反戦反核というテーマがあります。
いたるところに実写映像が出てきて、今の遺伝子が抱える問題、核の問題が出てきます。
ゲームに、こんなテーマを盛り込む、というのがまず凄い。
小島監督は、ユーザーにこれらの問題について考えてもらうためにやったようです。
「ゲームをやった分だけ、現実に還元されなければならない。」
彼はそう言ったことがあります。
ゲームは、たかが遊びだが、しかし、時間を消費するものです。
そういった考え方の開発者が少しでも増えればいいのですが・・・。

隠れるという当時としては斬新なスタイルが光っています。
しかし、今にして思うと、結構敵兵が馬鹿です（笑）。
ですが、ＭＧＳ２でできる、エルードやローリングがないので、難易度は高いです。それでも、遊ぶ価値は十分にあります。
あ、一週目はオセロットの拷問に服従することをおすすめします。
エンディング後にいいことがありますよ。

ストーリー、ゲーム性、キャラの魅力。
どこを斬っても星５つ以外考えられない。
とにかくストーリーがとても素人が考えたとは思えないような出来。
今となっては映像は荒いのですが、それを跳ね除ける面白さ。
やり込み要素も満載です。
とりあえずメタルギアでどれが一番良いかと聞かれたらこれをオススメします。
他に１ではインテグラル、ツインスネークとありますが英語です。
メタルギアには日本語がジャストフィット。
金曜ロードショウを見るような感じでプレイ出来ます。
というかテキスト量多いので英語だとちょっと疲れちゃいます。

という事でこれをオススメします。

どうしてもＰＳ映像が我慢できないという方はGC版のツインスネークをどうぞ。
