   日本プロ野球選手会と大リーグの、公認と協力のもとに作られた野球ゲーム。登場するチーム名は架空だが、登録されている選手は実名で登場し、各選手のモデリング、モーションがリアルに再現されている。

   チームメイク機能で自分のオリジナル球団を47都道府県の中から選んで作ることもできる。このチームメイクでは、オールスター戦、オープン戦、トーナメント戦、リーグ戦とさまざまな試合モードが用意され、試合で勝つとポイントがもらえる。このポイントを使えば、新たな選手を獲得し、チームを強化することもできる。

   いろんな選手の対決も考えられ、松坂大輔とバリー・ボンズや、ランディー・ジョンソンと松井秀喜など、夢のような顔合わせが楽しめてしまう。メジャーのユニホームも6チーム分用意されているので、好きなプロ野球選手に着せてみるのもいいだろう。スタジアムも架空ではあるが大リーグのイメージを大切にしたものが用意されている。まるで、日米の新リーグが発足したような気分を味わうことができる野球ゲームだ。（岡田幸司）

実在のチームがないことや、無駄なリプレイによるむやみに長い試合時間、浅草キッドや松村邦弘などによるギャグを交えた解説など、ちょっと苦笑してしまうゲームですが、スクエアの他のスポーツゲーム同様、各選手の動きの癖などのリアルな再現については結構楽しめます。メジャーの選手も実名で登場するし、ＭＬＢファンなら持っていて良いのでは。（Ｒジョンソンの剛速球の凄さが伝わってきます。）

ホームランの感触とか、ピッチングの楽しさとか、良い要素はもっていると思うのですが、何でわざわざ魅力をなくすようなものを入れるのか理解に苦しみます。

因みに私は、ゲーム操作に慣れた以後、プレイしていません。

2002年に買ったこのソフト。それ以来２年以上経つがもう既に何試合プレイしただろうか。
とにかくグラフィック、登場選手、いずれも申し分無いくらいのでき。

あえて言えば、打力優先のためＤＩＶ１のレベルになると投手が打者を抑えるのはかなり難しくなるというところか。（まともにプレイするとかなりの打撃戦になる）

いずれにせよ定期的に思い出してはプレイしたくなる作品である。

同じ時期に出た野球ゲーム中では一番面白いと思います。だから☆５。ただし、リアルという点ではどうでしょう。個人的に大リーグ選手が出てくるので嬉しい。チーム作りも楽しいし。日本のプロ野球を楽しみたい方はもう少ししたらでるパワプロ９（？）など、今年のデータが入っている物で楽しみましょう。最低でも阪神が強くないと・・・日本野球は楽しめないでしょ？だから、それまでは・・・夢の対決を楽しみたい。

これはいらないよ、リアルのかけらもない。これはリアルさなど皆無に等しいこれといって面白い要素もないし、正直わたしは辛口だが、ほんとにいらないよ。
