　以前から、私は鳥山雄司氏の曲が気に入っていた。世界遺産のテーマ曲から始まり、フジテレビのゴルフ番組にかかる曲、スポるとのゴルフコーナーで流れる曲も気に入っていた。言葉では上手く表現できないが、私の琴線に心地よい音色を奏でてくれるのである。しかも、何度聴いても飽きず、むしろ逆に私の気持ちをいい方向へ誘導してくれるのである。

　鳥山雄司氏というと、どうしても世界遺産のテーマ曲に目が行きがちである。しかし、他のCDもBGMとして秀逸で、小さい音量で聴いているとキーボードを叩く勢いが乗ってくる。
　その中でも、毎朝必ず聴いてテンションを上げるのが9曲目の“Let me go”である。フジテレビ系列のゴルフ番組のテーマ曲なので、聴いたことがある方も多いと思う。私はゴルフ番組を視聴する人間ではないが、フジテレビのスポーツ番組を通じてこの曲を知った。

　特に、天気が良い日にLet me goを聴くと、「生きていて良かった」と思うほど幸福感に満たされる。さらに、ドライブで橋を渡る時にこの曲をかけると、外の景色と見事にマッチする。
　上記の理由により、一度でもいいから鳥山雄司氏のCDを借りることをおススメする。その取っ掛かりとして、ベスト版が一番いいのではないかと考え、blogでも取り上げた。

ギタリスト、ではなくミュージシャン鳥山雄司の集大成。卓越したギターテクニックを披露した作品ではなく、彼の音楽家としてのアイデンティティを披露した作品。それだけにより多くの人に気に入って貰えると思う。「世界の車窓から」の溝口肇よろしく、「世界遺産」の鳥山雄司、匠の域に達した感有り。
