往年の若大将ファンにはたまらない１枚。若大将シリーズには貴重なサントラ盤。映画の中の曲にはレコード化された時とは異なるオリジナルの詞がついたものが多く、このサントラ盤でしか聞けないものもある。

あの「君といつまでも」さえ、サビのところのメロディがちがう。歌と台詞を聞きながら、若大将映画の興奮が蘇ってくる。若大将トラックス２とセットでの購入が是非お勧め。

　1995年8月発売。
　盛り沢山である。４０もの音源を収録しており、第２集もあるという。あくまでも映画で使用されていた「音」を集めているので、良い音では無いが映画を観た方々には心地よい音である。私はやはり加山雄三の加山雄三たる音は「ハワイの若大将」（６３年）からだと思う。そして「リオの若大将」（６８年）までの５年間でしょうかねぇ・・・。それ以降は歌謡曲趣向が強すぎてねぇ・・。当時のステージでも彼はエルビス・プレスリーがアイドルだったようですから、ロックンロールっぽい音には情熱、バラードには色気を感じますね。彼の当時の音源を漁っていこうと思います。

とても、なつかしくて、その時の時代を思い出します、自分が学生であこがれの若大将。自分と重ね合わせて、ああなりたい、と本当に思った幼い考え、でもそんな自分が好きでした、いまでも、あの当時の曲を聴くとよみがえります。
