　1994年7月発売。
　僅か２５分足らずの収録時間ですが、聴いていて楽しくなってしまいました。加山雄三って天才ですねぇ。当時、このようなサウンドをポンポンと創っていたんですから・・・・。タイトル曲は日本のRock界の遺産ですね。だってこの時期、プロのエレキギター弾きはいたにはいただろうけれど、未だに心浮かれるサウンドがこの曲以外に残っていますか？？　　チャーだってまだ小学生、私もその一歳下・・・・。湘南類似系のサザン桑田も同学年。影響もろに受けてるよねぇ。

　多数の方々から頂いた熱いメールにお答えし、弾厚作モノをちょろっとお話します。
　
　以前、ＣＳで「若大将シリーズ一挙放送」なんて「社長シリーズ」とか「フーテンタイガーシリーズ」とかシリーズ物をよく放送してましたよね。私が生まれる前の映像作品ですが「エレキの若大将」だけは別格でした。な~んでかっ？・・・（境すすむ）えれ~気の強い若大将だったから・・・チャンチャン・オ~レッ！！
　
　一曲目以外はリマスタ物で、９４年発売なのに時代の先取り感があり「なんか、気合入ってるな・・・」と、当時買った記憶があります。２曲目以降は６０年代後半、日本のロックの夜明けが垣間見えます。ヴェンチャーズから始ったムーブメントに、上原謙の息子が乗っかったという感じは否定できませんが、試行錯誤を繰り返す「若大将」はかっこいいの一言です。確かに津軽三味線は否定できません。が、それはそれでリズムギターとしてハマってるので良いと思います。そして、この時代特有の音が「ベースギター」ではないでしょうか？ＧＳも含め、尾崎紀世彦や和田アキ子、天地真理や木内みどりの世代まで、何故か日本はベースなのに「中域」が効いたコシのあるサウンドでしたね。今となっては懐かしいサウンドですが、このランチャーズが日本の若者に与えた影響の多きさを感じずにはいられないです。（はずです。）
　
　黒い砂浜のド頭ハーモニクスは、当時全国のド肝を抜いたはずに違いない。ナンセ、時代が時代。レコーダー類は買えずにレコードを何回も再生しながら「耳コピ」の繰り返し・・・ハーモニクス？１２ｆで使えるのォ！！なんて・・・映画でおかもち（寺内タケシ師匠）がいきなりギターを弾く設定には無理があると思いましたが、青大将（田中邦衛）の名演で帳消しです（笑）。そういえばこのアルバムは楽譜が付いてます・・・お買い得です。　解説じゃねえ・・・申し訳ない
