かなり古い曲から私にとって懐かしい'80年代-90年代の曲などをPUFFYがカバーしているアルバム。
Image Down、愛が止まらない、哀愁デイト、青い涙などがよかったですが
特にWINKの「愛が止まらない」は原曲以上に甘ーくせつなく、女の子っぽくていい感じです。

聞き慣れた曲もPUFFYがカバーするとまた新鮮で、原曲とかなり違った雰囲気になりますね。
民生さんによる選曲もナイスです！実に微妙なところをついてるというか…。
欲をいえばカバーアルバムということもあり、もうちょっと曲数があったほうがいいと思いました。
全曲イイ！とはいえませんが、コンセプトが面白いアルバムです。

ハリケーン・青い涙はやっぱりしっくりきてていい！ですがちょっと微妙と感じる曲も少なくなかったです。哀愁でいとはありかな♪やっぱり原曲を知ってるだけに複雑でした。一度聞いてから買うかどうか決めてもいいかと思います。

リメイクしたメロディもPUFFYの活舌さわやかな発声に良く合うが何しろ
これほど詩の素晴らしさを意識させてくれるアルバムは無いと思います。特に”愛が止まらない -Turn It Into Love- ”はwinkファンには
申し訳ないですがこちらの方が上です。「あ、こんなに良い詩だったのだ」と車の中で聞いて感動しました。

私としては青い涙や嘲笑は選曲としておかしいと思いますが曲が良いので相殺ですね。久しぶりに邦楽のレビューレポートを書きました。
