<ストーリー>
物質転送を研究する科学者アンドレは、自らの体を使い実験を試みた。しかし、装置の中に1匹の蝿が紛れ込んでいたために頭と手だけが蝿の"蝿男と化してしまう。自分の頭を持つ分身蝿を探すうち、徐々に人間としての意識が薄らいでいくことを感じた彼は、やがて絶望の淵へと追いやられていく……。

「蝿男の恐怖」
プレス機で科学者が殺される事件が起こり、事件を究明していくと、電送装置を開発した科学者が、人体実験で片手と頭が蝿の蝿男になってしまったという真相に行きつくというストーリー。物語は回想で綴られ、衝撃のラストシーンに。子供の頃にこの映画を何度もテレビで観たが、何度観てもラストシーンは衝撃的。ずっとトラウマになっていたほど。ホラーの鬼才デビッド・クローネンバーグがリメイクしており、こちらも非常に良いできだがラストの衝撃性はオリジナルを超えていない。この映画は劇場未公開映画であり、当時の映画関係者の見る目のなさにはガッカリさせられる。

「蝿男の逆襲」
１作目があまりに衝撃的過ぎたので、２作目の衝撃度はかなり低い。人間と動物を合体させた怪物（？）が出来上がるところが、映像を白黒にしたおかげでリアルになって怖いが、１作目よりそこ（怪物）に焦点をあてすぎた感がある（出てくるのは蝿男だけではない）。友人の裏切りに対し、復讐をする蝿男はどこか「ジキルとハイド」のハイド的な存在にも見えた。衝撃度は低いが、リメイク版のパート２よりは面白いかも。

蝿男の恐怖はその昔見たことがあって知っていましたが、蝿男の逆襲は始めて見ました。
あまり怖くはないです。
蝿男の恐怖が好きな人は是非見てみるべきだと思う内容です。
そちらを見てない人はまずそちらから。
