契約を守る為に名前を変え、アレンジを変え…賛否両論を招いたRUBBER時代を経て、バンド名を戻したHAREM SCAREMの復活第一弾アルバム。新たな契約の段階で「HAREM SCAREMでやる」といった条項が加えられていたという事からも判るとおり、これまでの作品と比べても、これほどまでに求められているバンド像に応えた作品はなかったのではないかと思えるほど、充実した内容です。
特にRUBBER時代には封印していたギターがまさに縦横無尽に弾きまくられているのが心地良いです。特にタイトル曲のWeight of the worldがこのアルバムがどのようなものかを良く物語っていると思います。
こうして復活を遂げた彼らを見てみると、RUBBERとして培ってきたものも決して無駄ではなかったのだと痛感させられます。勝手なファン心理だと思われるかもしれませんが、このアルバムを聴くと、RUBBERを経過して、このバンドはより成長して戻ってきたと思えます。

2ndのアグレッシブ＆重厚なハーモニー、
3rdのややダークながら哀愁あるメロディ、
RUBBERのポップ＆キャッチーな所が随所に見られる
ハーレム節満載、捨て曲なしの名盤です！

前作のRubber名義からHaremScaremにバンド名を戻してリリースされたHaremScaremとしては6作目となる今作。

アルバムタイトル曲となる1.Weight Of The World、Peteによるキャッチｰなギターのメロディから始まる2.Killing Me、
サビメロが彼ららしい4.All I Wantなど聴き所は満載です。日本盤ボーナストラックとなる12.End Of Timeも素晴らしい出来。

Peteのギターの弾きっぷりとVo.のメロディとのバランスが心地良く、個人的には捨て曲なし・文句無しの名盤。
