   サモ・ハンやユン・ピョウは他の撮影があったため出演しておらず、ストーリー的にも前作とあまりつながりはない。しかし今作には、前作に負けず劣らずの大技スタントも多々有り、「これぞジャッキー映画！」と思わず膝を叩いてしまうような痛快アクション・シーンのオンパレードだ。特にラストの、倒れる巨大看板の天辺から滑り降りるシーンは圧巻。また今作では、敵の投げ飛ばしぶりがかなり豪快だ。スタントチームも、よく無事でいれるものだと感心してしまう。まだ垢抜けていないマギー・チャンも初々しい。彼女が妙な広東オペラを歌うシーンも見どころ。（川島昭光）

ジャッキー映画おすすめ度★★★★プロジェクトＡとセットで見ておくべし。（ただファイナルプロジェクトはちょっと・・・）

やはり昔も今もみなさん残念がるのは、サモハンとユンピョウが出演していないという点ですね。

私もこの時期のジャッキー映画で３人が共演してないというのは少し価値が下がるようで・・・

まーでもマギー・チャンはいますし、アクションも最高級ですから良しとしましょうか。

新種のアクションも多く、特にラストは凄いの一言です。しかもけっこう簡単にやってるように見える所がまた凄い。

前作と違い海上ではなく、陸上の警察署長になり色々な陰謀に巻き込まれていく。残念ながら今回はサモハンもユンピョウも出演していない。
しかし、やっぱりおもしろいねージャッキー作品は！
最後の方で対決する辮髪の方々！アクションがシビレル~
