ｻﾗ･ﾌﾞﾗｲﾄﾏﾝやｲｼﾞｰ､ﾌｨﾘｯﾊﾟ･ｼﾞｮﾙｰﾀﾞｰﾉなどの同じｿﾌﾟﾗﾉと呼ばれる音域の人たちと較べてもひときわ高いと感じられる声です｡けれど､しっかりした歌唱力のある人なのできんきん響くような印象はありません｡純粋に綺麗だと思いました｡
ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ全体の印象としてはｱﾚﾝｼﾞがものすごく個性的なこと｡ｸﾞﾘｰﾝｽﾘｰﾌﾞｽはｲﾝｸﾞﾗﾝﾄﾞ民謡なのにﾌﾗﾝﾁ･ﾎﾟｯﾌﾟｽみたいな不思議な感じの仕上がりでしたし､ﾓﾙﾀﾞｳのｱﾚﾝｼﾞも冒頭の嵐を思わせる激しさからさびの盛り上がりのところまで一気に聴かせます｡ｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙのﾏｰﾒｲｽﾞ･ｿﾝｸﾞも長い"ﾗﾗﾗ"のﾌﾚｰｽﾞが岩に砕け散る波を鮮やかに連想させる秀作です｡
ﾋｰﾘﾝｸﾞ音楽に分類されていて､ｼﾞｬｹｯﾄの雰囲気もそれを狙っている感じですが､ゆったりﾘﾗｯｸｽというより､前向きで明るい気持ちになれるｱﾙﾊﾞﾑです｡

NHKの宇宙デジタル図鑑サイエンスアイのオープニングで流れている曲がずっと気になっていて、それでメラニーロスのMermaid's Songと知り、早速購入しました。このMermaid's Songは神秘的な気分にさせてくれます。サイエンスアイのファンの人なら、この曲が流れると同時に銀河系の宇宙の映像が、頭の中に流れるんじゃないでしょうか？

1曲目の出だしの時点で「買い」決定!！
5曲目が注目されているけど、個人的には、2，7曲目、
好きなんです、グリーンスリーブスとモルダウ
優しいけど力強い、何よりもきらきらしたイメージの曲が好きな人お勧めです。
