カップリングのOff Courseのセルフカバー「I LOVE YOU」は駄作、余計！！これさえなけりゃ星５つ、ったく、どーしたらこんな駄作に仕上がるんだ？キーをかなり下げてるし。どうせやるならオリジナルキーでカバーして欲しい。

その抜けるような透明感のある彼の歌声はいつ聞いてもいいものである。

何度かプロモーションビデオを見たが、彼が自転車で逗子からトンネルを抜け、鎌倉市内に入っていくシーンがあるが、このシーンこそがこの曲のコンセプトそのものだろう。真っ暗だったトンネルを抜け、坂を下っていくと、目の前には水平線が一気に拡がってくる。キラキラと輝いている蒼い海、これからの未来を表わしているかのようである。

まだまだ閉塞感がある日本であるが、再び太陽がこの国に昇っていくのを信じたい。君というのは、単なる君以上の意味が込められているように感じられてしまうのである。
