　前作「アクメ」での実験的ブルースサウンドから一変の原点回帰のロックンロールサウンドである、今作「プラスティク ファング」。
　実にシンプルなロックンロールであるが、それが本当にかっこいい、ロックはこうするんだというお手本のようなサウンド、体が自然に動き出す、聴いていて気持ちいい、この作品は間違いなくＪＳＢＸの代表作になります。

さあロックンロールしようぜ！！

乾いた音のロックでポップな一枚。歌だけ聞いても十分楽しめるが、ギター､ベース､ドラムも其々フックが効いていて､何度聴いてもおいしい。最近の売れ線ロックの単調なリフと最近のエアロスミスにガッカリしているロックファンにとって必聴の一枚。ジョンスペは「アクメ」だけでは終わらなかった。
