この曲をきくと、胸にこみ上げたものがあり、
学生時代、その当時、
どうしても本当のことが言えなかったことを
最近、トモダチに打ち明けました。
ごめんなさいの意味も含めて
時代がたち、少しずつ、自信がつき、
言えなかったことも言え、
この曲と出会って、感謝しています。

『ファミリア』『手紙』などでセンチメンタルなメッセージを送りつづけているケツメイシ。
今回は『トモダチ』。
ノリのいいHIP HOPにメッセージフルなリリック。
やっぱり、胸にぐっと来るものがありました！！
徐々に成長を遂げつつあるケツメイシから目が離せません！！

この曲はかなり完成度が高い、と思います。
言葉もメロディーもリズムもばっちり融合しているっていう感じ。
もちろん、聞いている時は、そんな堅苦しいこと考えずに、
RYOJI RYO ダイゾーの３名に併せて
思いっきりシャウトしているのですが。

それにしてもケツメイシというのは
かなり知的レベルが高いと思う。
詩に知性が表れています。

他の曲と違い、この曲に限っては「下ねた」はないし。
