すべてシングル盤の曲で構成されています。前半1-8がメイン、9-16がC/Wです。

全体的にせつない気持ちを歌ったものが多いのがこの人の曲の特徴ですが、オススメは、7「テンダー・レイン」。出だしからその切なさがぐっときます。
また、元気な中にもおしとやかさがある16「こわれかけたピアノ」もとても彼女らしさがでています。

休日の昼下がり、静かに読書をしたい時のBGMにどうぞ。聴いていないようで聴いている、とてもリラックスできると思います。

おニャン子クラブでも人気トップクラスでした。ファンだった方は当時を振り返る意味でも是非聴いてみてください。

当時はアナログレコードだったので、シングルＡＢ面を収録しただけとはいえ、それをＣＤ化しただけでこれは価値があります。
ソロでは大人しめの曲が多いので、合わせて『うしろゆびさされ組・ベスト』で元気な高井ちゃんも聴きましょう。

おニャン子系シンガーは、ソロ・ユニット問わず短命歌手が多かったが、彼女の場合オリジナルアルバムで計４枚もリリースしていたのは、今考えると意外だ。また、多くのおニャン子系楽曲は音作りに共通の特徴を持っていたが、彼女の楽曲を聴くと「おニャン子」という冠を外すと、全く判別不能な程の一線を画す楽曲作りが印象的だった。

例えば、それは既述の後藤次利を筆頭とするライター陣が関与しなかった面も大きいだろうが、穏やかなキャラクターが生み出す独特のサウンドが大きいだろう。因って、楽曲を聴くとスローバラードがとても多い印象を受ける。アップテンポの曲もわずかにあるが、間違っても静香のようなロック調は皆無である。また、８０年代中期と言えばデジタル楽器の普及が目覚しかったが、そのような状況で彼女の楽曲は、ストリングス系・アコピ・生ギター・ハープシコード等、アコースティック楽器をとても重視した音作りが成されていた。これが、彼女の穏やかな雰囲気と相乗効果を生み出し、佳曲が量産されたと見るべきだろう。これについては、吉沢秋絵と似た傾向だ。

デビュー曲の♪１から前述のサウンド面においての方向性が定まった感があった。お得意のストリングス楽器をバックに哀しいメロディーを上手く表現した♪３、空間を感じさせる音作りと心奪われんばかりのメロディー歌詞の♪７のように個人的な名曲について言うまでも無いが、「春」「冬」等の季節感溢れる楽曲が多いのも特徴的で、正にアコースティックサウンドが生み出した産物であろう。

尚、★４つとしたのは、オリジナルアルバムには「くちづけ」「風鈴物語」「冬時間」等数々の名曲がまだ存在し、これだけでは全ての魅力を伝えられないからだ。
