またまたベスト。フェイウォンのアルバムすべて持っているが、CINEPOLY時代からフェイはベストの数はアルバムと同じぐらい出している。さすが、金になる木。しかも、香港だとほとんど新曲＋ベストで売り出しているが、フェイだけは例外みたいだね。これぐらい、自信があるというわけだ。ただし、この一枚は今まで一番粗末なベストだと思う。ジャケットはこれまで、EMIで出してアルバムの写真を簡単に組み合わせして、DISC１は北京語で、DISC２は広東語。編集も適当！中身はもちろん申し分ないが、それならアルバムで聞くほうが、ずっとオリジナリティが感じられそうだ。更に、日本盤のボーナストラックはいつまでも「EYESONME」。まあもともとベストはこんなもんかもしれないが、残念ながらファンとしてはあまりオススメできない一枚です。

EYES ON MEの大ヒットで一躍日本でもスターに上り詰めたフェイ・ウォンのEMIに在籍時のベストアルバム。日本でスマッシュヒットさせたEYES ON MEに、日本語で歌っているSEPARATE WAYも収録。

全編を通して、とにかく上手い。しっかり聴き込むのにも、BGMとして流すのにもどちらでも良い一枚。少しテンポの良い曲が少ないような気もするので二枚組みのCDを二枚続けて聴くには疲れるかもしれませんが、一枚ずつを独立したアルバムとして聴けば、アジアの歌姫と呼ばれるだけの実力を心から痛感できます。
