先日、Janis Ian の、messageboard　で、もし、宇宙旅行なんかで、３枚のアルバムしか持っていけないとしたら、というトピックがあった。

で、小生も書き込みをした。

それは、

1. Stevie Wonder / Songs in the key of Life
2. Janis Ian / Between the Lines
そして、３番目にこのアルバム、
3. Ashford & Simpson / The very best
と、

すると、それまで３０人ほどの投稿があったのだが、私の投稿の直後に、　Janis Ian 本人の書き込みがはじめて、現れた。

Janisは、

"Omigod ! Great Choices !"
とはじめに書いていた。その後に自分なら、CDじゃなく本を持っていくなんて言っていたが、それはさておき。

"Omigod"とは、なんぞやとちびっと思ったが、すぐ判明した。

日本語なんですね。「お見事！」

(と、以前書いていますが、昨日、Omigod　は、Oh My God!であることに気づきました。それ以前、2.3年前、Tanaka-sanと、名指しで返答していただいてはいましたが、さすがに、日本人の私が、Ashford & Simpson　と来るとは思わなかったのでしょう。ちなみに、私、以前彼らの全アルバムを所有していました）

で、考えてみれば当然なんだけど、Janis　は、彼らと時間を共有した経験があり、そのすばらしさをよ~く、知っているわけ。

で、あらゆるCDの中から３枚の１枚がこれ！

息の長い御夫婦デュオ。たしかこの人たちを好きになったのは例の『はははははははははははぁ』からですね、そうそうそうそう『ソリッド』です。歌からこぼれ出る愛のスペシウム光線は『タックアンドパティー』に負けていません。編集のレベルははライノーのスタッフが担当しておりきちんとしております。愛の伝道師『アシュフォード＆シンプソン』をよろしく

１０点中９点　　やっぱ声がいいすね
