ベストアルバムということで　ほとんどのヒット曲が収録されている
この間初めてコンサートに行けて最前列から見ることができたのだが
歌もさることながら　その美しさに驚いた
きれいなドレスに身を包んだ彼女はまるでバービー人形のようだった

私は特に“空ときみのあいだに”が大好きなのだが　生で聴いた時には感動して涙が出たほどだった　彼女の曲はどの詩も心にしみわたってくる
魂の叫びのようにも聞こえてくる

かつてのヒットドラマ「家なき子」主題歌のヒット曲「空と君のあいだに」から始まり、中島みゆきの音楽シーンを新旧そろえたアルバム。
工藤静香に提供した「慟哭」はみゆき節炸裂！である。
「悪女」「ひとり上手」などはフォークソング全盛期の代表曲。
「最後の女神」「浅い眠り」などは、TVニュース、ドラマ主題歌として、多くのリスナーが聴いたことがあるだろう。
そして、名曲「時代」はアレンジを変えて美しいピアノ伴奏からはじまる。最後は「ファイト！」
中島みゆきの初期から約10年前までの曲をバランス良く揃えた作品だ。

中島みゆきの音楽の原点に立ち戻って、彼女のたどった道筋をたどるのも、現在のみゆきを知る上で興味深いと思う。
特に若い世代に聴いて欲しい。

　今回初めてCDを買った。テレビやラジオで耳にすることはあるので、その存在はもちろん知っていたが、一曲を通して聴くのは初めてだ。時代、わかれうた、全曲にわたりその歌詞の世界は、思っていた通りすばらしく、十分に堪能した。特にファイトではサビの部分だけを聴くと、まるで体育会系のクラブ活動の応援歌のように、かわいいイメージを持っていたが、駅の階段で子供を突き飛ばす女や、やくざらしき人間が出てきて全く驚いた。

　そしてもっと驚いたのは、アルバムのディスコグラフィーだ。７６年以降ほぼ毎年１枚のペースでフルアルバムをリリースしている！クオリティの高さを維持しながらこれだけの枚数を創作するのは尋常の才能ではない。しかし初心者にとっては次の選択肢があまりにも広すぎるということだ。デビュー当時からのファンがうらやましい。
