Bodily Functionsよりも前に発表されたアルバム、
なんでこの頃はそれほど注目されなかったのか不思議でなりません。
どちらかと言えばハウス志向がより強いかなってくらいなので、
Bodily Functionsが気に入った人は是非聴いてみるべき。
アナログではシングルカットが4枚も出てる傑作ぞろいです。

凄い。とにかく気持ちいい音である、というのが
最優先に作られているような気がする。
マスタリングも素晴らしいの一言に尽きる。
ボトムと歌姫ダニ・シシリアーノの声の素晴らしい融合。
4つ打ちのひとつの究極形。

個人的にはBodily Functionsの方がずっと肌に合うのだが（単純なモンで）、本作はBodily Functionsに比べると、もっとボンヤリしてるし、歌物も少ないし、一曲が長いし、断然静か。他のCDとかと比べるとヴォリュームのメモリ２ぐらい上げないと聴きづらい。

暗いってわけじゃないんだけど、Bodily Functionsのような飛び跳ねたくなる軽快さは薄くって、もっと断然シットリです。タイトルの「お家周り」とハウスをかけてるんだろうが、そのジャケのシンプルさに比べて、パカっと開くと、中からキレイなHerbertと奥さん関係の写真が出てくるのはなんかお洒落だった。もっと聴き込まねば。
