この曲は、野川さくらのデビューマキシシングル「そよ風のロンド」のストーリーが続いていて、
遠距離恋愛が終わってしまったという、悲しい感じだけど･････。
泣ける曲なので、是非聞いてくださ~い♪

全体的にシンプルな構成・メロディ・アレンジに切ない歌詞をのせたバラード。
本人の作詞によるものですが、彼女の描く世界には前向きな女の子が登場する詞が多くあり、本作も「失恋の悲しみや辛さに押しつぶされそうになりながらも、それを乗り越えていこうとしている女の子のひたむきさ、一途な健気さ」が描かれています。その健気さゆえに、単なる失恋の悲しみだけではない、かえって胸を熱くさせる涙腺うるうるの１曲といえます。
前作1stマキシ「そよ風のロンド」でもそうでしたが「そこまでしなくても曲としては成立するけど、そのプラスアルファが実に効果的」という仕掛けがかなり上手いです。本作ではブリッジのフレージングやエンディングでのファルセットの入り方などがその好例です。影山ヒロノブ氏のプロデュースワーク、ソングライティングの気合いを感じますね。
従って「最近野川さくらの曲を聴いて結構気に入ったけど、アルバムに収録されていないこの曲はどうなんだろー？」という方には100％おすすめです。本人は｢アイドル声優｣ですから、キャラクターソングはきゃぴきゃぴ系の曲が多いですが、その反面、オリジナルソングはしっとり系の聴かせるバラードも多く、本作もその１曲といえます。
ジャケ買いの方（最近はそんな人いないかも？）にも｢可愛い甘い声で、悲しい歌を切なく歌う｣という設定が好きな方にはピッタリでしょう。
