騒がしいかと思いきや
澄み切ってぴったり合った
声が魅力でした。

TVアニメ【七人のナナ】のOPとEDが収録されたCD。
OPは水樹奈々さん、桃森すももさん、浅木舞さん、福井裕佳梨さん、秋田まどかさん、
中原麻衣さん、名塚佳織さんが結成するユニット、nana×nanaが歌う、Success,success。
EDは水樹奈々さんが歌う、Birdie,birdie。
どちらもアニメに合った曲です。是非聴いてみてください。

まずは、C/W曲の「Birdie,birdie」から。
こちらは本編で主人公・鈴木ナナを演じられている水樹奈々さんがお一人で歌われているバラード調の曲です。
水樹さんは小さい頃から歌のレッスンを受けられていたそうで、「将来的には演歌を歌ってみたい」と仰るだけあって、この曲をまるで賛美歌の様におごそかに、かつ清らかな感じに歌い上げられています。

歌詞は「七人のナナ」らしく"恋する少女が窓辺に止まる小鳥に、胸に秘めた想いを託す"といった感じなのですが、その歌詞以上に聴いているだけで何故か涙が溢れてくるほど美しい歌に昇華されている彼女の実力は、とても素晴らしいものがあります。

タイトル曲の「Success,success」は、本編で"ナナ"達を演じられている７人の声優さん方によるマー!っぽい(!?)曲になっています。
こちらは「七人のナナ」のもう１つの側面「受験勉強」をテーマに"明るく元気に、辛い受験を乗り切ろう"と元気溢れる歌詞になっているのですが、何より注目すべきはこの７人の声優さん達の息のあったコンビネーションでしょう。

主演の水樹さんを軸に１番は１人ずつリレー的に、２番は数人ずつのコーラスでまとめてあるのですが、いずれも違和感が全く無く、これが初めて７人揃っての歌とはとても信じがたいほど、聴いていて大変気持ち良い曲に仕上がっています。

また何度も聴くにつけ、本編とも絡んで本当に水樹さんと声質が似通った、それでいて歌もしっかり歌える声優さんを揃えたユニットだとつくづく思います。
水樹さん以外の６名はT.V.アニメ界及びアニメ・ソン°!界でも無名の方々ばかりですが、それぞれ今後のご活躍が楽しみになる、そんな一曲だと思います。

また、こうした"歌える"声優さん達の実力を遺憾なく引き出されるSTAR☆CHILDさんの演出も、いつもながら心にくい限りです。

あ、今現在文字通り受験を闘っている皆さんにも、ちょっとした息抜きに聴く曲として是非お勧めの１枚です。
