このバンド初のライブ盤といってもいい今回のアルバムは新曲２曲、カバー１曲、リメイク１曲、ライブ１１曲という内容。１曲目の『オーヴァー・ザ・ヒルズ・アンド・ファー・アウェイ』はゲイリームーアの曲をカバーしたものだが見事にこのバンドらしい味付けがされている。そして５曲目からライブ音源が聴けるのだが、パワフルでアグレッシブな一面があったり静かでしっとりと曲を聴かせたりと内容は濃い。また、会場の盛り上がりからもこのバンドが地元フィンランドをはじめヨーロッパ諸国(特に北欧)で人気があるということがわかる、

今回のアルバムも、前作、前々作と聞いてきたファンには堪らない一品だと思う。メロディアスな曲調は変わらず今作にも受け継がれており、新曲もカバーもNIGHTWISHの世界を堪能できる。
後半のライブは生と言うこともあり、前作アルバム等で聞くのとはまた違った楽しみが出来、1枚で二度おいしいアルバムとなっている。

また、単純に新曲が聞きたいだけと言う場合でも、この値段ならば十分買う価値はあると思う。

個人的な感想になってしまうけれども、ライブの魅力はやはりギターだと思った。
