イベントの仕事をしている人から「会場で流すのに便利」と紹介された
のが、ワークシャイのかつてのアルバム「ＯＣＥＡＮ」。
それ以来、気になるアーティストではありましたが、本格的にハマったのは、
今年のブルーノートのライブを見てからです。都会的なオシャレっぽさは
そのままに、もっと肩の力が抜けた感じでした。

この「Ｍｏｏｄ」も、派手さはないけれど聴けば聴くほど…という
スルメのような味わいのある1枚で、よく部屋で聴いてます。
あらためて「声」の心地良さ、その声の魅力を最大限に引き出す
メロディとアレンジが心憎いほど。
アシッドジャズやソウル、ボサ・ノヴァなどいろんな音楽を楽しんできた
オトナが、リラックスして聴くのにオススメなＣＤです。

私、音楽は詳しくありませんが、
swing out sisterやインコグニート等が好きな人には向いていると思いました。
体調を崩して家にいる時、疲れてる時、寝る前に、いつも聞いています。
特に寝る前に聞くと、ぐっすり眠れます。また、歌詞にも注目して欲しいです。
このアルバムは、ワークシャイの他のアルバムに比べてリラックス度が高い気がします。

全体的に音楽の質がよくまとまっているという印象を受けました。
今一番好きなアルバムです☆

確かもう十年以上前のデビューになるこのワークシャイ。
二人組のデュオになってからだけでも１０年はたってます。
その年輪がでて　でも今までの音楽の路線は維持してる。
なので　ひさびさに聞いてみる人にも変わらないものを与えてくれるはず。
そして　初めて聞くひとには　力の抜いたお洒落さを感じさせてくれるはず。

こんなにメロウなのに　ラブソングばかりではない。
ぜひ　歌詞を見てほしいです。
シングアウトシスターやバーシアの好きな人にお勧めです。
