   ドリームキャストから始まった人気RPG「グランディア」シリーズは、毎回新たなシステムを導入してきた。本作でももちろん新システムは導入されてはいるが、それ以上に今までの「グランディア」とは異なる世界観を物語が用意されている。

   この世界では50年ほど前から、「精霊暴走」による自然災害が起こり、人々を悩ませていた。その原因は、古代文明の遺跡の中心部からゆがんだ精霊力が発生していたことだった。主人公のエヴァンは仲間と遺跡中心部にある「精霊の間」に乗り込んでいく。新システムとして仲間との強力な合体技を出すことができる「シンクロフラッシュ」が、従来のアルティメットアクションバトルに導入された。ほかにも魔法を作り出すことができる「マナエッグ」システムやキャラの成長に「スキル」という概念をもちいて、同じコマンドを繰り返すことで身につけた技が、さらに鍛えられていくようになっている。

   グラフィックの美しさに加え、360度どの方向からでも見ることができるフィールドもグランディアの進化を物語る。ちなみに、キャラクターは藤原カムイがデザインしている。（岡田幸司）

安くて、皆さんの評価も決して高くなかったのであまり期待せずに購入しました。
やってみて、正直かなり面白かったです。戦闘システムややりこみ度抜群！
年齢を重ねると、ゲームのストーリーとかどーでもよくなってきて、戦闘が楽しいのが一番ですね・・・。

みなさんボロクソに言ってる人もいますが、これは
考え方を変えればすばらしい作品だとぼくは思います。
普通のＲＰＧと比べずに、これ一つ単独の作品と思ってください。

これはたしかにストーリー重視の人にはオススメできませんが、
キャラ育て、アイテム集めなど極めることが好きな方には超オススメ
です。武器の数だけでも１００を軽くこえてますし、特にエッグ同士の
合成がかなりはまります。エッグとは簡単にいえば魔法の卵です。

これは是非考え方を変えてプレイしてみてください。

今までのグランディアシリーズの中ではストーリーと
キャラが駄目らしい
のですが個人的には普通かと・・・
確かにキャラとストーリーはいまいちですが戦闘が
今までより面白くなっているのでその分十分楽しめれます。
ただセーブ地点は多くして欲しかったです。
