シンガーとしてだけでなく、時代を象徴する女性との印象も強いが、そういった周囲の視線とは異なり、むしろ自分自身の葛藤を通過することで表現された6作目。ここに込められた溌溂とした雰囲気は彼女の人間性をも物語る。完成度の高さは見事。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

おヌード(セミ・ヌード)のビルボードで話題になった頃に「いつのまにか、いいポジションに着いてるhitomi、侮り難し」みたいなことを書いたが、かつては小室っ子だったhitomiもすっかりその影から脱却し、独自の青春ガンバリズム路線を突き進んでいる。あんまり大風呂敷は広げられないが、今現在、ヤング諸君に「ガンバレ!」と言うことのリアリティはあるのか? ということを考えたい。そのあたりのモヤモヤした複雑で難儀な気分をhitomiは皮膚感覚で理解していると思う。その上で少し斜に構えたりしつつ、未来にある“僕たち”の希望を歌っている心意気や良し。Suzuki AkinoriやKitano Masatoら、作家陣がいい曲書いているのも侮り難い。近作でずっとアレンジを担当している渡辺善太郎も相変わらずポップな仕事ぶり。ただシェールというかダフト・パンクというか、流行りのヴォコーダーみたいなヴォーカル処理が随所に施されているので、常に声がウニョ~ンと鳴っている錯覚に陥る。 (杉山達) --- 2002年02月号

シングル曲が沢山入っていてお得な一枚ですが、
私的にはシングル曲でない曲もお勧めです。
テクノっぽいかんじのモノから、壮大なバラード、
長尾大さんが作曲した曲、SAMURAI DRIVEのCUNEさんが作曲した曲、
など色々なタイプの曲が入っています。
発売当時は何故か受け入れられなかった「INNER CHILD」も
このアルバムを通して聴くとすんなり受け入れられました。

前作のジャケ写もすごいけど、このアルバムのジャケ写もある意味インパクトがすごい。（彼女はこういうのが好きなのかな）

収録曲の半分近くがタイアップ曲ですが、それ以外にも「プラスティックタイムマシーン」がｈｉｔｏｍｉらしくてかっこいいです。

「ＳＡＭＵＲＡＩ　ＤＲＩＶＥ」のようにスピード感のある曲が彼女の売りですが、ドラマの主題歌に使われた「ＩＳ　ＩＴ　ＹＯＵ？」が聴き応えがある。

あるいみｈｉｔｏｍｉにとって一番脂が乗っている時期の作品なのでは？

このアルバムがきっかけでhitomiさんのファンになったくらいすごいアルバムです！買って損はありえません！なかでもおすすめは
プラスティックタイムマシーンとHiHiHiがいいです。他の曲のいいけど
