Vol.1、収録作品は「恐怖の貨物列車」「階段を這う手首」「死びとの町」「人魂(ひとだま)・・但し原題は[せむし男の人魂]」「マネキン人形の首」「悪魔のローソク」の6本。
リアルタイムで放映を観ていた者として、旧「妖怪人間ベム」の作品評価は勿論、5!
商品としては評価が難しいです。無いよりマシかな?
各話、言葉狩りによる編集、削除が行なわれているのは周知のことと思います。ただ、いつの時点で削除が行なわれたのかは不明です。(おことわり)として
・・現存するマスターの状態により、お見苦しい部分、・・云々、
と表示されていますが、この意味は、「作品を不具にして御免なさい」なのか「マスターが既に傷つけられており、オリジナル完全版の復元が不可能」なのか・・?
パッケージ・イラストは新規に書き下ろしたもの。ベラの目にカドが無く、眉も釣り上がっていない。口は小さくなってます。原作より若く美人に見えます。さらに、変身前の三体の手は指が五本描かれています。リメイク版もそうです!
この作品に限った話ではないですが、削除・編集・改竄を行なう場合は、誰が、どういう経緯で行なったのか明示するルールも必要ではないでしょうか?
妖怪人間たちは、人間社会から認められず、不幸な境遇に有りながらも、人間として恥ずかしくない生き方を貫きます。実際、人間以上に高度な倫理観の持ち主たちです。
そんな彼らの有りのままの姿を描かない、又は描かせない人、或いは団体の倫理観とは一体、どの程度のモノなのでしょうか?
エンディング・テーマ曲「ベロは友だち」の詞にあるとおり、
・・大人な〜ァんか、分かっちゃーない!・・
ですね。

放送された当時を知る人には懐かしく
若い世代の人には新鮮に映ると思います。
放送禁止のセリフが上手に編集されカットされてるのはちょっと残念。

このアニメ最高です！！

今では絶対に放送されないようなものばかりです。

放送当時のセリフでは現在放送禁止用語が多数使われているはずですが、そこがちょっと。

作品全体に漂っている雰囲気は現在のアニメでは絶対にありえないものです。

必見です！！
