良かったです。
シングルのA面B面すべて入ってこのお値段、満足満足！お買い得です。
人気絶頂期の「お人形さん」「王子様」のような時期、
トッポが抜け急きょシローがメンバーに加わった時期、
既成イメージを壊そうともがいていた時期、そしてラストまで…
発売順に収録されており、解説も丁寧。
そのため、聴いているとタイガースのメンバーの繊細な心のヒダをのぞき見てしまったような、切ない気持ちになりました。
色んな想いが胸にあったんだろうな〜…などと勝手に想像したり。
やっぱりタイガースは素敵！！

タイガースが活躍していた時、私はまだ生まれていません・・・

たまに、「懐かしの映像等」でタイガースの人気ぶりを拝見する事はあっても、
その”音楽をちゃんと聴く”機会が全くありませんでした。
故に、タイガースに抱くイメージは単なる『アイドル・バンド』と言う位置づけでしかなかったのですが、
この考えは根本的に間違っておりました。

年数を重ねるごとに、音楽クオリティーが高くなっており、
「解散しなければ、このバンドは何処まで化けていたんだろう？」と思わせます。
そして、アルバムに収められている半分近くの曲を「知ってる」と言う不思議。
GSブームやらなんやらで、色んな目で見られていたと思うし、私自身がそういう目で見ていたわけですが、
そんなちっちゃい枠に囚われないで、ザ・タイガースを聴いてみてはどうでしょう？

「 出発のほかに何がある」の語りは、世代を超えて訴える物があります。
全体的に曲の長さは短いですが、内容は濃いです。時代を感じさせる「古臭さ」も感じられません。
これで「シングル・コレクション」なのだから、驚き。
A・B面収録されていますが、手抜き作と思わせる曲がありません。
絶対にお買い得です！
