　戴冠ミサと言うことで、明るいミサ曲です。死者のためのレクイエムや、キリストを失ったマリアの悲しみを歌うスターバトマーテルとは曲の意味が違っています。グローリアやアニュスデイなど幸福感に満ちた音楽の作りで、聞く人の気持ちを晴れやかにしてくれるでしょう。時間も30分弱で聞きやすいでしょう。
　合唱もが鳴りのない美しい歌になっていると思います。お勧めです。

自由闊達な指揮をすることで知られるコープマンですが、これもバッハの管弦楽組曲やマタイ同様、元気いっぱいで力強い演奏です。とくに、第３曲「クレド」での速いテンポ、終曲「アニュス・デイ」での終盤のドラム連打など、独自の解釈が光り、聴いていて驚かされます。演奏も合唱も独唱もとても美しく、心が洗われます。お薦めです。

　３０数歳で帰天したモーツァルトの傑作を４点収録しています。

　申し訳ありませんが、私は個人的にはモーツァルトは嫌いです。レクイエムなどは好んで聴きますが、どうにも「軽い」んです。真正面に十字架きって歌うならビクトリアでしょう。しかし、軽い中にも、なにか我々を癒してくれる音がある。それに気がついたのは最近です。単純なんです、音の並びが。でも実際に歌ってみて、ああ、そうだなと思わせるものがある。関係ないけど、あの宮沢賢治が書いている諸作品も、読む側にしてみれば「あたりまえだろ」って思うけど、改めて（構えて）読んでみると何とも言えない感慨がある……そんな気持ちを味わえるのがモーツァルトなのかなと思います。けど、モーツァルトの音楽は「構える」必要がない。モーツァルトが嫌いな人間が認める、悔しいけど、これが現実です。なんか、さらっと入ってくるんです。そういう曲の数曲を集めたのがこのＣＤですね。きっと。

　私は合唱団員ですから、ともすれば皆様の期待にこたえるようなコメントはできてないかもしれません。われわれ合唱団員が最初に手にするのは楽譜で、そこからモノを言うから。しかし、この戴冠ミサは、万人が歌ってふさわしい曲ではないかと。
　映画「アマデウス」にあったように、彼に関するいろんなエピソードはある。しかし最後は『音』です。どなたかが書いてらっしゃったように、２曲目の『めでたし御体』も、そのとおりだと思います。そして楽譜を見てうたって何と歌いづらいこと・・・。でも慣れれば慣れるほど、その単純な音符の並びに、彼の天才的な才能を見出せるのです。

　めんどくさい説明は抜きにして、彼の音楽に身をゆだねてください。基本的に私はモーツァルトは好きではないけど、間違いなく、『癒される何か』がここにはあります。実感しました。オススメです。
