一昨年のロックオデッセイでの初日本公演に仕事などで行きそびれた方はもちろん、全てのロックファン必見。　
ピートの爆発風車ギターはもちろん健全。故ジョンがクールな表情でブリブリうならせるベースの馬鹿テクぶりと、ロジャーのマイクを振り回しながらシャウトする様は今時の若者バンドには決して真似出来ない
かっこよさですね。　
Drのザックのパフォーマンスも３人のオヤジ達にひけをとらずパワフルで、ともかく１曲１曲の一体感がスゴイ！！
このショーのコンセプトがイギリス国内の10代の癌患者たちの専用病棟を増やすというチャリティー的なもので、若手天才ヴァイオリン奏者のケネディ，JamでThe Whoからモッズのスタイルを継承した永遠のモッズ野郎ポールウェラー，Oasisノエルギャラガ-，Stereophonicsケリージョーンズ，ブライアンアダムス，そして90年代のグランジム-ブから現在のロックカリスマとなったPearl Jamのエディベダー（自分のヒーロー達の前ということでいつになく控えめな姿勢）と凄い顔ぶれが共演。　温故知新という言葉があるが、Whoを知らない世代も彼らの魅力が十分に伝わる内容。参加メンバーを見て興味を持ったら絶対に見て欲しい。

　The Whoの2000年のLive映像です。以前から出ていたのは知っていたのですが，50歳を過ぎたThe Whoの衰えた姿を見たくないという思いがあって今まで買わずにいたのです。すみません，私が間違っていました。『衰えた姿』？....とんでもない。The Whoは50歳を過ぎても十分すぎるくらいに刺激的なロックバンドでした。キーボードにラビット，ドラムにリンゴ・スターの息子のザックを加えた５人編成で（途中ピートのソロのコーナーもありますが）２時間以上のステージを繰り広げているのですが....あ~，なんて格好いいジジイ達だろう！

　また，このLiveにはポール・ウェイラー，ブライアン・アダムス，ノエル・ギャラハー，エディ・ベイダーといった今をときめく大物ゲストが参加しているのですが，The Whoの前に立つと，彼等ですらデビューしたての新人のように見えてしまいます。
　いやほんと，このステージを見て聴いて何も感じない人はロックを聴くのを止めた方が良いと断言しちゃいますね！

ライブ版の映像はｲﾏｲﾁのものが多いですが、これはかなり良いです。やっぱりTHE WHO↑は最高だ！！！
THE WHO↑好きの方は是非!!(そろそろ来日してほしいと思いつつ・・)
