浜崎のCDは全て聴いていますが、「My Story」が出るまでは
間違いなく一番聴いていました。
浜崎あゆみの中にある優しさや怒りや焦りや哀しみ、
様々な感情がむき出しになっていてリアルに感じられたからです。
精神的に余裕の無い感じが伝わってくる作品ですが、
それが良い意味で緊張感を生んでいると思います。
全体的に「痛み」を感じる楽曲が多いので聴きこむと疲れますが、
後半は穏やかな曲調で「希望」を感じさせてくれます。
特にラストのアルバム・バージョンの「Endless Sorrow」と
その後に収録された隠しトラックが素晴らしく、
痛々しいまでのこのアルバムに救いをもたらしてくれています。

「My Story」以降の幸福感のある浜崎を見てから
このアルバムを聴くことは減りましたが、
これからも絶対に手放すことは無いでしょう。
万人向けではありませんが、
浜崎あゆみを知る上で絶対に欠かせない作品の一つです。

聴いて損はないと思います。
特に「I am…」はこの時のあゆの痛々しさ、寂しさと憤りが伝わってきます。
かっこつけてないあゆらしい作品です。
この曲は彼女にしか歌えないとうちは思う。

このアルバムの曲の殆どが浜崎あゆみ本人の作曲（ＣＲＥＡ名義）だが、どの曲もクオリティが高く、本当に才能ある人だなと改めて感じる。
特にアルバム曲「Ｎａｔｕｒａｌｙ」は最高。流れるような機械的なサウンドに、ありのままで行こう、という人間臭い歌詞が合っている。
「Endless sorrow」は、オリジナルで収録して欲しかったが・・・
