このＤＶＤのツアーが始まった頃、何かの雑誌にドラムのマックスの記事が載っていた。マックスの娘達はお父さんがＢＯＳＳとバンドをやっている頃まだ小さく、その姿が記憶になかった。マックスは娘達にＢＯＳＳと走る父親の勇士を見せる為ＴＶ音楽番組のレギュラーという安定高額収入を中断してＢＯＳＳの召集に応えたそうである。ＢＯＳＳの一挙手一投足を見てドラムを叩きまくるお父さんを見て娘達は必ずしやその偉大さを感じたと思う。特にジャングルランドからライト・オブ・デイにかけてはバンドが強いチームとして纏まり抜群のノリを出しているのを感じると思う。マックスはその中でＢＯＳＳという強いリーダーを補佐する参謀役としてバンドを引っ張る。日本のサラリーマンのお父さん達はきっとマックスの背中を見て何かを感じる事でしょう。私も子供に親の背中の偉大さを見せてあげたい！！

5.0 out of 5 stars やっと出たE. Street Bandとのライブビデオ（DVD）, 2002/1/16
ブルース・スプリングスティーンのフルコンサートのライブ映像は、過去に『Plugged』があるだけだった。しかし、『Plugged』はE. Street Bandとの競演ではなく、一体感も乏しく、選曲も今ひとつだったため、個人的にはあまり評価できない作品になってしまった。しかし、今回は違う。E. Street Bandのフルメンバーとの競演で、３時間を超えるコンサートをDVD２枚組に収めたこの作品は、スプリングスティーン・フリークにとってのマストアイテムになるだろう。個人的には、アメリカのケーブルテレビで放映された映像（本作品の半分程度）を既に見ていたのだが、当然のことながら音質も画質も格段にアップしており、文句のつけようがない。こうなったら過去のライブ映像もぜひDVD化してもらいたいものである。

スプリングスティーンファン待望のEストリートバンドとの競演です。

久しぶりに熱くなりました。かつてはスプリングスティーンの動く姿を目にすることは１曲のライブ映像しかありませんでした。しかし月日は流れそれから２０数年経った今、その姿が最高のパフォーマンスで帰って来たと思います。そりゃあ、みんな歳とっていいおじさんになってますけど、まだまだ健在です。映像的にも「おいしいカット」を短く挟んで来るというスピード感ある編集になっています。この作品を担当した演出はスプリングスティーンの音楽を良く知っています。もちろん、会場の大画面で流すための映像を録画しているので、アップの多用はいたしかたないところではありますが、曲のフレーズを上手く捉えて画面を切り替えていくような、見ていてその仕事の熱も伝わって来ます。それにしても、７０年代のやんちゃなスプリングスティーンも魅力でしたが、今のスプリングスティーンもすばらしい！やっぱりEストリートバンドとのコラボは、世界一のロックバンドと言っても過言ではないような気がします。
