KID AとAmnesiac から選曲したオフィシャル・ライブ盤。
スタジオ盤の無機質で冷え切った世界とは正反対で、熱く燃え立つようなサウンドに満ちています。
僕はスタジオ盤が大好きですが、先の2作でRADIOHEADに苦手意識を持ってしまわれた方には是非お勧めしたい1枚です。

とにかくあの音源をライブ表現でここまで踊れるフィジカルなサウンドに仕上げたRADIOHEADに脱帽してしまうと思います。
"Morning Bell"のドラムが鳴った途端、体が動き出してしまいます。
トムのローズ・ピアノのコリコリしたサウンド、ジョニーとエドの玄人業と言えるギターワーク。
トムのヴォーカルもめちゃめちゃ熱い！！
"Like Spinning Plates"のライブバージョンの美しさは是非ご自分の耳で確かめてみて下さい。
トムのピアノのアルペジオと歌声を中心に構成されているのですが、この楽曲の骨子の完成度に度肝を抜かれます。
スタジオ盤からは想像も付かないサウンドだと思います。

彼等はKID AとAmnesiacの楽曲をライブで表現することによって、その成功を血肉とし新たな境地に立ちました。

今の彼等を知るためにも非常に重要な分岐点、それをコンパクトにパッケージした好盤です。
星4つなのは…是非全時期を統合したオフィシャル・ライブ・アルバムを出して欲しいという期待を込めて、です（笑）

~♯８、TRUE LOVE WAITSはCREEPを越える至高の名バラード。
賢く、センシティヴでありすぎるが故に変人とも言われるトム・Ｅ・ヨークの弾き語りというシンプルなナンバーにも関わらず、「人間はギター一本でかくも劇的な感情を表現しうるか！」と驚嘆させられるに違いありません。

私個人的には、彼らのすべてのアルバムも含めた中でこの曲が最も好きで、それゆえこのライブアルバムは皆様にもぜひ聴いていただい名盤だと思っております。~
