なんと引き出しの多いバンドなんでしょう。
10CC 独特のサウンドと言うか、彼等ならではの表現方法と言うのか。。。
彼等のこの音に包まれるのも悪くないです。
　このアルバムは通して聴くことをおススメします。
　
どの曲にも言えますが、1つ1つにドラマ性を持たせ、感じさせ、何か映画を見ている気分にさせてくれます。
とても雰囲気を大切に曲を創り上げて、言葉で表現するに、もどかしいあの微妙なニュアンスのサウンドがたまりません。。。

1．『 HOW DARE YOU 』のINSTで始まり・・・独特の言い回しや、コーラスが包み込む 3.の『I WANNA RULE THE WORID』や
4．『I`M MANDY FIY ME 』のあの暖かさと切ないGUITARの音色と言ったら・・・・もう・・・心に響き渡ります。
5．『 ICEBERG 』の曲の変調と強弱、明暗の使い分けや、7.『 ROCK N ROLL LULLABY 』の聴かせところ満載のGUITARとヴォーカル。
9．『 DON`T HANG UP 』でアルバム全体を締め括るに相応しい創りで、とても美しく、大変に心地良いままでその幕を引いてくれます。

10．『GET IT・・・』は、おまけ というか・・・・・このアルバムの後日談程度で受け止めてみてはいかがでしょうか。

とにかく、ドラマ性を感じる音に包まれてみて下さい。
本アルバムは、まさに名盤中における『 良盤 』と言えます。
音の探訪をしてる方は、聴いてみては如何では無いでしょうか？おススメ致します。

気を抜いて聴いて、曲のフィードアウトで見事にやられてから、かなり時が過ぎたが、今だその音は色褪せる事がない・・・・。

「I'm not in love」を収録した『オリジナルサウンドトラック』の翌年にリリースされた傑作アルバム。バンドの能力が全面開花し、テンションも最高潮にある。すべてが個性的で、ユニークな名曲のオン・パレード。1曲目のインストナンバーから、エリックがリードボーカルを取る「レイジーウェイ」はひたすら気持ちがいい。と思ったら、次はロル・クレームが演じるヒットラーの演説が入るブラックユーモアの世界。そして極上ファンタジー映画のような名曲「I'm mandy fly me」。中間部分の2人のギターソロが交錯する部分はもう最高です。ラストは、ケビン・ゴドレー＆ロル・クレームコンビが作り上げた、厳粛なラブソング。電話の呼び出し音。ロル・クレームのエレクトリックピアノ。ケビン・ゴドレーのボーカル。切ないです。電話をかけた（あるいはかけた気になっている）男の妄想を、こんな楽曲にしてしまうなんて。この曲の構成美は「ボヘミアン・ラブソディー」級。ギズモも大活躍してます。前作から続くヒップノシスのジャケットワークも、秀逸。ジャケット中面に、ごった返す室内の全員が電話をしていて、その中にメンバー４人がいる趣向。どことなく「最後の晩餐」やミケランジェロの天井画を思わせる。ともかく彼等の（大英帝国の）、実験精神と、ポップセンスと、美意識が結晶した1976年の収穫です。

映画のよくあるオープニング。よくある始まりかもしれませんが
空の中、雲の上、3Dのような感覚で雲の中をゆっくりと進んでいく感じ。
視覚的な表現でいうとそんな感じです。雲の上の晴れ間を流れる感じ。

10cc＝「映画」

このキーワードは次作「オリジナルサウンドトラック」の
完成をもって確固たるものになります。
映像が主体である映画（フィルム）以上に表現力と何故か視覚的効果があり
この作品の完成度はとんでもないことになってます。

おちゃめなジャケまんまの　しかしそれ以上に音楽に対する気持ちが
入りすぎて一周しちゃったみたいな。

この感覚を音に表現出来るバンドは今いないだろなー。
当時でも彼らだけだったと思います。
個人的には懐かしい作品でもありますが、今も常に傍らにそっとある
素敵な名盤でございます。
