5.0 out of 5 stars ある程度クラプトンを聞き込んだファンかギタープレイヤー向け, 2007/1/10
中身が素晴らしい。
ただし、2006年の来日公演でその魅力を知った方や
90年代以降のファンの方がいきなりライブアルバムとして
手に取るには少し内容が濃すぎるように思います。
現在ともプレイスタイルは大きく異なります。

例えば非常に優れた75年ツアーの模様を収録したDisc2の最終トラック
恋は悲しきもの〜Eyesight to brindはサンタナとの
壮絶なギターバトルが思う存分堪能できますが、ノーカットの
20分以上のジャムセッションはかなりマニアックなファンや
ギターを演奏する方でなければ最初から凄いとは思わないのではないでしょうか？

ただし、本作はむしろそういったコアなファンのためにあるもので
その、長いジャムセッションをほぼ、未編集で収録したのがその価値です。
自信のない方や躊躇のある方は
先ずは2枚組みEC WAS HEREや461デラックス・エディション、BLUES2枚組みあたりで
試してみてこれらが気に入らなければ本作は購入しないほうが良いと思います。

日本公演を聴いてハマッタ方は「One more car One more rider」（CD,DVD）や
99年と04年のクロスロード・コンサート（DVD）あたりから入っておかれるのが無難と思います。

繰り返しになりますが70年代のクラプトンファンには
すばらしい内容の作品で、私もこう書きながらDisc1の74年ツアーの音源や
Disc2あたりは特に愛聴しています。

とにかくＣＤ4枚にわたって、ヒット曲ばかり、それもアドリブ満載、
なかにはカルロス・サンタナとのギターバトルもあり、
と幸福な時間が過ごせること間違い無しです。

Ericの他のどのライブ盤を購入するよりも、本セットを買うべし！！

買うときは値段が高いなと思いましたが、聞けばもっと高くても良いと思うような内容でした。７０年代のスピーディーでパワーが有り、またアドリブも最高なライブなので、聞くとクラプトンの世界に１００％入ってしまいます。特にDisk２は凄く濃く、曲も良いものばかりです。その中でも特に凄いのが、６曲目。アドリブが長く続きますが退屈せずに彼のギターサウンドを堪能できます。もう文句なしの作品です！！
