メインストリームのR&Bとは一味違う飾り気のない
しかし本物の音楽だと思います。彼の作品は現在３作出ていますが
どれも独自の良さがあり、ファンクなビートとシルキーなボイスは
変わりませんが曲が外れなしの素晴らしさです。

視聴しただけでも、数回聴いただけでも彼の良さは伝わりにくいかと
思われますが、遅効性の薬のように体に染み込んできて気づいたとき
にはとりこになってしまいます。
これは私の勝手なイメージですが、彼の音楽の素朴で切れ味するどい
ところが日本刀を彷彿とさせます。
派手な打ち込みのサウンドもなく、ラップも絡ませませんが、古き良き
ソウルミュージックを彼の感性で仕上げた極上の音楽だと思います。

「After Hours」が音楽評論家やリスナーからとても高い評価を受けて
いることから、興味本位で購入しはじめは良さを理解できませんでしたが
今ではそのジャケットのアートワークに偽りがないことを証明してくれました。

曲の良さは聴いてもらうほかないです。ソウルファンはマストバイです。

自分が和みたいときに聞くアーティストの一人。

甘いものからリズムのあるものまで歌いこなす力量は
かなりのもの。
R&Bとかネオソウルなんてカテゴライズは置いといて、
マジいいんです。

通しで聞くのが一番いいけど、あえて挙げるなら
#2　spend the night
#3　when you are あたり・・・。

babyfaceあたりが好きな人にお勧めです！
