このアルバムが店で並んでるのを見たとき、“あぁ、またザック極上のヘヴィメタルが聞けるんだなぁ。”と思い急いでレジに持っていき、会計を済ませ家に帰った。ＣＤをかけて見ると“おやっ？”と思った。なぜなら今回のアルバムは，過去ＢＬＳ作品のストロンガーザンデス、ソニックブリューと比べると、なんとなくクリアーな感じがしたからだ。もちろん、ヘヴィさは全く失っていないが聞きやすくなっている感じがした。で、曲の方はというと、さすがザック。伝家の宝刀、ペンタトニックソロ＆チョーキングビブラートもさることながら、今回はかなりいいリフのオンパレード！耳になじむリフが目白押し。他にもインストゥロメンタルの曲なども入っており、やはり過去作品とは少し違う新しいザックに会える事間違いなし！これは早くも来日ライブが楽しみと思いながら今、１９１９エターナルをしっかり聞き込んでいます。

派手な始まりだが、炸裂ギターだけでなく、途中でじっくり聴かせるのはさすがだ。バックのメンバーもすごく、感動的です。

ブラックラベルソサエティを初めてきいてみました。オジーの時からリフを積み重ねるタイプのギタリストですが、いやあ、ここまでヘヴィーなリフだとは思いませんでした。声は見た目そのまんまのだみ声。決してうまくは無いけど味があるね。ブラックラベルソサエティはサザンロックの影響を受けてるって聞いてたけどサザンロックらしさは全然感じません。個人的にはレイナードスキナードやマーシャルタッカーバンド、又は初期のZZ TOPみたいなのを期待してたので期待はずれで星2つ。
