祝再版！SF映画にアイディアを求めたスーパークールな6曲です。久しぶりに聴くと恥ずかしくなってしまうテクノの多い中、10数年を経て聴いても、全く古くない。YMOファンもそうでない人にも、自信を持ってオススできるテクノホソノワールド。

細野さんのセンスは20年先を走っています。
コチンムーン然り、SFX然りです。
アンビエントとかラップとか沖縄風とか、そんな言葉が流行るよりずっと前に細野さんはそれらをやってしまっています。

さて、このSFX、サンプリングやリンドラムなどで溢れた心地よい「リズムと言葉と音階の断片」の塊、不思議な歌詞にタイトルも不思議。

「現実から離れた」SFXの世界からふっと「お疲れ様」と、「地球の夜に向けての夜想曲」が挿入されている辺り、細野さんの「旅モノ」の原点はここにあるんじゃないかなと思いました。
モナドじゃなくノンスタンダードであるこっちに。

もう細野さんの頭のぐちゃぐちゃな感じを全部詰め込んじゃってる感じです。
32ビートの後に突然幻想的な音世界に行ったり、スクラッチや、奇妙奇天烈なサンプリング、
展開もすったくれもなく（あるんですが全く読めなく）、
面白い音や、アイデアを次から次へとどんどんやっちゃおうっていう
遊び心が前面に聞こえてきて、
とにかく聴いているこっちが楽しくなってきます。

YMO散開後にやりたいことを好き放題やったという感じで、
こんな（当時からの）大御所（プロデューサーとしても）がこんなアヴァンギャルドで先進的なアルバムを出せること自体、
いったいどんだけ冒険心を忘れていないのかと感心します。
実験心とセールスを度外視した音楽への愛情を感じます。

アフリカバンバータがこのアルバム大好きだそうで、
これまた遊び心にあふれたMouce on marsがelekingでトップ１０に挙げていましたが、
非常にうなずける、古びれないというか、今リリースしてもセンセーショナルで新しいんじゃねぇかって言うサウンドです。

cybatron、プラネットロック、いろんなエレクトロ作品聴きましたが、
その後の影響を考えなければ、ぶっとてんでいてやばいのは間違いなくこのアルバムです。
日本にこんなアーティストがおられることをほんとうに誇りに思います。
