　本作は1986年に12インチシングルとしてリリースされた「CERAMIC DANCER」（ 「テクノ歌謡DX アーバン・ダンス」にも収録）と、同年に発売されたアルバム「2 1/2」を収録したものである。もし収録作を両方ＣＤで持っていても、買う価値が十分あると思う。それはライナーノーツとミックスがいい仕事をしているからだ。

　ライナーノーツは、彼らの所属したノンスタンダード・レーベル（以下ＮＳ）の結成から消滅に至るまでの経緯と、本作ができた背景が詳しく書かれている。それだけでなく、元メンバーのコメントとその後のキャリアまでフォローしてある。いい仕事である。また、ミックスもとてもクリアになったと思う。ミキサーはＮＳのバンドWorld Standard出身の鈴木惣一郎氏だ。当事者ゆえに思い入れがあるのかも知れないが、これまたいい仕事である。
　曲の方は80年代風な中にも、実験的な音があって、時々はっとする（ただ、詞はちょっと変かも）。特にＭ８とＭ１０の音作りは凝っていると今でも思う。Ｍ２も傑作だと思う。

数年前に再発されたＣＤを購入しました。成田忍さんを中心に結成されたバンド？の存在は、布袋さんのギタリズム２のツアーパンフで知りましたが、まさかこんなに簡単に入手することができるとは思いもよりませんでした。全曲聴いてみましたが、やっぱり１０曲目が最高にかっこいいですね。ギターはもちろん布袋さんですが、ドラムもたたいたそうです。他の曲は残念ながら・・・、ボクには・・・。
