「越美晴」を知ったのはちょうどこのアルバムの発売された頃。
ほとんど始めて「越美晴」の歌声・曲を聴き、
美しい歌声とこのアルバムが復刻版だというのに、未だに斬新さを感じることに驚きました。

ほとんど無名なのではないかと思うのですが、人に奨められる一枚だと思います。

「チュチュ」「パラレリズム」に続く、アルファ時代の名作。これだけノン・スタンダードレーベルなのですね。ちなみにカタカナのコシミハルで検索しても、「越美晴」の作品がひっかからないのはどうかと思いますよ。
レコード時代の歌詞カードと詳細な解説付きでのリイシュー盤で、こちらの方がお薦めです。レコードで初めて聴いた時以来、捨て曲無し、緻密に作られたトータリティの高いアルバムだと思っているのですが、解説を読むと、けっこうバラバラな意図で作られていたようですけど。
「あるいは天使ののど自慢」のサブタイトルがぴったりな、エレ・ポップ風クラシックのtr1〜3、アバンギャルドなテクノtr4、6、8もすごく良いのですが、個人的に好きなのは糸井重里作詞の80年代アイドル・ポップ色も感じるtr7と（当時、彼女は少女隊などに楽曲提供もしていた）、本作以降のフランス指向をうかがわせる小悪魔的なtr5。とはいえ、どの曲も聴きやすくてとんがってて、おすすめです。
本作以降「コシミハル」名義で、「Passepied(パスピエ)」など、よりフレンチ・アバンギャルドとでも言うような作品をリリースしていくのですが、個人的には好き嫌いが別れそうな感じ。この「ボーイ・ソプラノ」はデビュー以来のポップス・メイカーとしての聴きやすいメロディ、「チュチュ」以降のニューウェイヴ路線、「パラレリズム」で垣間見せるデカダン、そしてその後の方向性などなど、越美春＆コシミハルのいろんな要素が破綻することなくひとつの作品となった、希有な傑作だと思います。中古でもまだまだ安い。今のうちに買い、です。
